- I am mom of 2 toddlers 10 months apart (CRAZY) and I attend school online to get my bachelors...I will then move onto law school...and now I am Vice President for the Going To The Rescuers, Inc.=) I LOVE THIS...THIS GIVES ME GREAT SATISFACTION TO HELP WHEREVER I CAN!!!

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) - Changes to Sioux City's pit bull ban will have to wait another week.
The city council was set to discuss amending that ordinance at tomorrow's council meeting, but councilman, Aaron Rochester asked for a delay.
In September, city leaders approved an ordinance to ban new pit bulls from the city and put additional requirements on current pit bull owners.

ALLEN PARK — Pit bulls have been banned from the city for now — at least the bad ones.
After months of heated debate City Council members and pit bull advocates have worked out a compromise.

**ALERT** New Berlin, Wisconsin BSL letter writing needed!
It is my understanding from a concerned dog owner who attended the meeting on December 17, 2008 that New Berlin is "probably" going to follow the lead of West Allis. If you recall, West Allis passed a pit bull ban which was immediately vetoed by the mayor. West Allis is now in the process of working on a generic dangerous dog ordinance.

- Hi Melissa, How's Dolly doing now that she's on an antibiotic and a neb tx.? Did she end up having a skin problem or not? I think there's a very good chance that I can foster her. Just want to make sure she's stable and what the routine is with her. Please give me any updates you have. I think she'd be a good fit at my house - my pit has a great maternal instinct. She's been "mom" to my chihauhau's since they were 6 wks old. They're all pretty quiet now and spend most of their time on the couch sleeping together under a blanket. Although they do have toys they play with on occasion, sometimes they even play outside and chase each other around the yard. Maureen

- Melissa, I've been anxiously following Cezar's story and his progress. It's a miracle that he was rescued that can be attributed to his rescuer's persistance. He is a very fortunate dog. He deserves much better in life than what was given to him at first. I would like to be able to adopt him. I have room in my life, my home and my heart for him. I know that it was mentioned that there was a possibility of him going to a rescue in Va., but if he could be adopted from where he is now it would alleviate another move/stressor in his life. Please let me know your thoughts and how I should proceed. Thank you. Maureen Cavanaugh
