- 4 yr old F1 male labradoodle, Jackdoodle, adopted from A.D.O.P.T. in Naperville IL 1/24/06. Jackdoodle was purchased in a pet store as a puppy and dumped in the shelter at 14 months old without so much as a collar or a blanket. The excuse was "job changed". Jack was very undersocialized and extremely fearful, but hasexcellent house manners, loves kids, and does not chase my cat. We have worked hard on his socialization & confidence; he is a work in progress. He turns out to have a severe immune system disease which requires continuous treatment, (currently bi-weekly shots), and will for life. I don't know if he was dumped because of the disease or because he sheds, which labradoodles aren't supposed to do, lol. But he is the sweetest guy in the world, and the love of my life.

- Labradoodles, goldendoodles, German Shepherds. Last fostered for IDOG in September 2008; Jackdoodle's medical issues prevent me from fostering at the present time.

I believe we will become family quickly. We are all about dogs here with one common cause.
This is a rescue network...crossposters, transporters, pullers, vets, techs, supporters of all kinds. Invite anyone and everyone that you belive will help. Some people want to donate money. GREAT! We need it. Some people will pray. GREAT...we need them. Bring them in, because this is gonna be the place of all places that will be saving the dogs and people will be touched in the process.
