NY~Litter of Kitties & Momma Need Help: updates 11/11/09
My name is Betty Appleton and I live in Warsaw, N.Y. I wanted to call you and talk to you personally but I couldn't find a number in the phone book for you. A few weeks ago this beautiful little black cat with the most beautiful green eyes showed up in my breezeway. I know she must have belonged to someone, as she disappeared for a few days, then showed up at my door again with a green flea collar on her. I also noticed that she was pregnant a few days after that. I have been putting food and water out for her everyday, and even put feelers out to see if anyone was missing a little black cat . no one wanted to claim her. I don't believe she is more than a yr. old if that. She kept crying at me for quite awhile this morning, so I figured she was getting ready to have her babies. I fixed a box for her and set it up on my bench in the breezeway and she jumped right up into it. she had 5 little babies between 10 and 11 a.m. this morning. I don't know if you take in cats and kittens, but I sure could use your help on this. I'm a senior citizen and I already have 4 rescue kitties, so I am not able to take on anymore. Would it be possible for you to take this mommy and her babies. I know she belonged to someone as she craves attention. I would be glad to donate a few things to your shelter, and would be glad to give you a donation also. Please let me know as soon as possible. I'm really worried about her and her babies as it is very cold out there and going to get much colder. Please call me at 786-2734, as soon as possible if you can help. UPDATE: We took these cats into our rescue but have very few funds to get all of the cats vaccinated and s/n. Any little bit you could contribute would be appreciated!
