Going To The Dogs

Networking GTTR's Adoptable Dogs

Hello!!

My name is Amy and my family and I started Ashland Animal Rescue Fund this past year. We work to network death row dogs to rescues and no kill shelters across the US. We mainly 'work' out of rural pounds in KY WV and OH. "Our puond' is in Ashland KY - located on the tristate border of KY OH and WV. Our pound houses cruelty cases that the police bring in.

We have a new one.

There is a blue female - who appears healthy (as I am sure she was going to be used as a breeder). We have two males - both black and white. One has NO external ears (likely in preparation of making him a fighter) and the other is so emaciated that I am frankly surprised he is still alive.

We have purchased a case of A/D food and the pound is feeding him. His skin is in AWFUL condition and my father and I took him in for a scrape and he does have sarcptic mange. I have attachecd pictures of this pitiful baby. We have had him dipped so he should start feeling relief.

The case goes to court at the beginning of November. I cannot stress the urgency and seriousness of this matter. We have so many pits that never find homes. These three babies have never had a life - their only time has been just awful. Please please please please consider taking these babies into your program. We just got two more pit cruelty cases in yesterday. The pound is having to euth happy, healthy, highly adoptable dogs just to make room to hold the dogs that are considered 'evidence'.

My family and I founded Ashland Animal Rescue Fund to help vet and network dogs out of this rural area....we have been pretty successful all except for the pitties. These babies will not be deemed adoptable - and I just cannot live with that.

We know nothing about their temperment with other dogs....they were all chained up together though I don't know how close. They are all three good with humans.

They are located in Ashland, KY 41101.

Please let me know if you should need any other info

Thank you for even considering them.
